I am not contemplative by nature but I found myself seeking to grow, to experience God in new ways. I worked with a Spiritual Director for several years before enrolling in the Pneuma Institute, which embraces folks from numerous Christian backgrounds. I have learned so much from my sisters and brothers from other faith traditions.
I serve a two church Charge in Johnstown, one of the poorest cities in Pennsylvania. My passion is for working with individuals and small groups, encouraging them to become more deeply rooted in their faith. I yearn for the parishioners to grow into the people they were created to be. I love to encourage folks to engage in different prayer forms, which involve all their senses. Most of my spiritual direction is done in the context of my appointment, but I do work with a few individuals from outside the Charge.
