Bob resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with his wife Cece and their furry friends Jackson, Traveler (Huskies), Hot Shot, Catfish, & /scamper (cats). He is joined in Baton Rouge by daughter Anne, son in law Eric Roberts and Elliette, a delightful four year old granddaughter; additionally, son Beau, his wife Bridget and grandson Hayes (5) and granddaughter Harper (2). Bob is the owner/operator of Doyle Electric Inc., a commercial electrical contractor in the South Louisiana area since 1978.

Bob completed the Louisiana Conference Academy of Spiritual Formation and Direction in 2012 and has completed the UMC requirements for Certification at Garrett Evangelical Seminary and worships at First United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge. He currently serves as a small group leader at the Paraprofessional Academy for Spiritual Formation being held at First United Methodist Church - Baton Rouge and Garrett.
