Welcome to the website of Hearts on Fire, the Fellowship of United Methodist Spiritual Directors and Retreat Leaders. We’ve created this website to extend our ministry of sharing our thoughts, hopes and dreams for ministries of spiritual formation within the UMC.
Our goal is to provide formational leaders with opportunities for connection, networking, resourcing and support. As an affiliate organization of the General Board of Discipleship under the division of the Upper Room, we work to advocate for and educate about the ministries of spiritual direction and retreat leadership at every level of the United Methodist Church.
